An Adelaide logistics business needs two qualified tradespeople for its expanding workshop: a pair of permanent, full-time Diesel Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic positions.

What the business needs most is someone who can diagnose faults quickly, look after air brake systems and trailer running gear, complete NHVR inspections and record every job properly.
Maintain, service and repair the fleet of heavy diesel trucks and semi-trailers
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, braking and suspension faults and complete the repairs




Deliver scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Repair air brake systems, axles, wheel bearings, landing legs and trailer components
Conduct safety inspections that meet NHVR compliance and record each job in maintenance records and reports
Balance efficient work with high-quality workmanship
A trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent
Previous work on heavy vehicles and trailers
Solid skills in diagnostics and fault-finding
Experience maintaining trailers and air brake systems
Able to work both independently and in a team
An HC/MC driver's licence is an advantage
A solid work ethic
