A Day in the Life of a...
Web Designer
@ Excite
We believe in
creating beautiful websites
for our clients, coupled with
a strategic marketing approach
– this role is about both (in equal parts)!
Your typical week would include:
Creating website designs
in Figma based on strategic briefs from our marketing team, and working with our amazing clients directly
Crafting beautifully designed pages
directly in HTML/CSS
and utilising your skills with
WordPress
and
WebFlow
to build out client sites.
Creating
conversion-focused social media ad designs
to bring digital advertising campaigns to life.
Working directly with our Marketing Team and Project Management Team to iterate on designs based on client feedback.
We understand that not every role is suited to every person – it needs to be a good fit (both ways)!
Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:




Experience with
Design software (e.g. Figma; Adobe XD; & Creative Suite)
Intermediate-to-Advanced level of
HTML & CSS
Experience in
WordPress
and/or
WebFlow
Experience with
Elementor Page Builder
for WordPress is a bonus (but not essential)
Excellent
communication skills
and a genuine passion for working with clients
Understanding of Good
UX & UI principles
