About the role
Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking an exceptional Executive Support Officer (ESO) to provide high-level support to both the General Manager and Senior leaders across one of Queensland's largest and most respected healthcare organisations.
Based in South Brisbane, you will be a trusted partner to the General Manager and senior leadership team, ensuring seamless operations across complex clinical and operational portfolios.
No two days will be the same as you navigate competing priorities, coordinate executive activities and play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives that make a real difference to our patients, staff and community.
This role is suited to an experienced executive support qualified who enjoys working in a highly complex setting and takes pride in being across every detail.
You'll be someone who can anticipate issues before they arise, exercise sound judgement and confidently manage multiple competing priorities while supporting senior leaders responsible for delivering essential healthcare services.




Salary range:
$93,103 - $102,572 per annum
plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doing
This is more than a traditional executive assistant position.
As an Executive Support Officer, you will operate as an extension of the leadership team, providing expert coordination, communication and organisational support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
You'll be responsible for:
Manage complex priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Provide seamless coordination of executive, governance and leadership activities
Deliver high-quality correspondence, reports and presentations
Prepare agenda and minutes for Committee's and sub-committee meetings
Support strategic initiatives and execution of key organisational priorities
