Data Analytics Engineer
Up to $150k + Super, pro rata

An prospect for a hands-on data professional to take ownership of data quality improvements across a Microsoft data environment.
You'll investigate issues, troubleshoot SQL and pipelines, and work with business stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.
Suited to someone with a BI, analytics engineering or consulting background who enjoys delivering work end to end.
What you'll do:
Investigate and resolve data quality issues across datasets and pipelines
Review SQL and transformation logic to identify underlying problems
Implement data profiling, validation and quality monitoring
Support Microsoft Purview implementation and governance activities




Develop Power BI reports and dashboards
Gather business requirements and document solutions for handover
What you'll need:
Strong hands-on SQL and pipeline troubleshooting skills
Practical experience in data quality, profiling and validation
Power BI experience, including DAX and data modelling
Proven end-to-end delivery and strong stakeholder communication
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Driver's licence and access to a car
Nice to have:
Microsoft Purview experience
Exposure to Azure Synapse, Azure SQL or Microsoft Fabric
Data migration experience
