This is a key, senior level role suited to a highly capable professional who can confidently manage projects end to end, provide technical oversight, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage civil/structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
Undertake and review design work to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements
Check and approve design documentation and drawings prior to issue
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior and graduate engineers
Oversee project delivery to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion
Coordinate with clients, consultants,



contractors, and stakeholders to achieve solid project outcomes
Manage workloads, priorities, and resourcing across multiple projects
Attend site inspections and provide technical input during construction, as required
Position Requirements
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years' experience in the Australian industry
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Consulting Engineer (civil/structural), with proven delivery of projects in a consultancy environment
In-depth knowledge of Australian Standards
Experience with SpaceGass, AutoCAD, 12d, Drains, Inducta suite, TEDDS, and Microstran
BIM experience highly desirable (ability to work within BIM-led coordination and documentation workflows)
Proven ability to review and verify the work of others, ensuring accuracy and quality of design documentation prior to issue
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Willingness to relocate for employment (if not already Wagga Wagga–based)
