Community and Allied Health Services are available including: cardiology clinic, alcohol and drugs, child development, diabetes education, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology, Antenatal clinics are provided.
With a population of around 3,500 it is the base for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the School of Distance Education.
The town is also home to a Cosmos Centre, which houses an observatory perfect for viewing the Milky Way Galaxy.
•Provide general practice services at the clinic Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, in accordance with the local roster.
