Veterinary Specialist Services is an established Small Animal referral practice in South East Queensland.

Job Description
The successful candidate will monitor and manage hospitalised patients overnight under the care of the specialist teams, working within established treatment plans across internal medicine, surgery,
oncology and critical care.
The role includes responding to overnight in-patient emergencies (no recent admissions) and escalating patient needs, with specialist support available on-call, and handing over to day teams each morning to ensure continuity of care.
This role suits a veterinarian who wants to see what referral level hospital medicine involves without committing to it long term, while leaving the door open if it proves to be the right fit on both sides.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You hold a BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia
Sound patient monitoring and evaluation skills, and the judgement to know when to escalate
