The Opportunity
Director of first impressions for the medical oncology / palliative care ward
Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills essential
Responsible for all administrative tasks for the medical oncology/palliative care ward
High level customer service skills as you manage incoming calls to the ward
Accurate data entry of patient admission and discharge to the Patient Administration System
Confidential management of patient files on the ward




Teamplayer - work with stakeholders from across the organisation
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent and/or
Minimum 2-3 years medical administration with high-level customer service experience
Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel), with accurate data entry
Knowledge of and/or experience in cancer services (desirable)
Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements
Valid police check <6 months old or willingness to obtain
Current Working with children check
Valid Australian working rights - no sponsorship is offered for this position
