SYPAQ is currently looking for an Associate Systems Analyst to join our team in either QLD, ACT, VIC or SA supporting a Federal Government client.
This long-term opportunity offers multiple extension options and a Hybrid working environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements
Support the creation and implementation of solutions to meet business needs
Support the creation and maintenance of solution documents
Provide support to daily operations and monitor performance of business solutions
Adhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvement




Perform technical application assessments considering risks and benefits
Escalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutions
Assist with cost analysis activities as required
Support the life cycle of changes and improvements to systems
Provide training, guidance and support for new staff where required
Conduct testing activities such as test coverage reviews, formal or informal test execution and test planning
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects
Undertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications and design documents
Prepare correspondence such as reports and technical documentation for review by senior staff
Your Technical skills will include
Translate technical information for non-technical audiences
Identify & analyse information & make recommendations based on evidence
Think critically & analytically to solve problems
Work collaboratively & integrate agile ways of working
Adopt & support others to adopt emerging trends & new ways of working
Seek & suggest innovations & improvements
Identify & Assess Risks & Take Appropriate Action
About you
Demonstrated experience in requirements definition and management




Demonstrated experience in design of moderately complex software applications or components
Australian Citizen with the ability to hold and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance Baseline Minimum
