Job Description Motor Underwriter | Broker Facing | Melbourne, Western Suburbs | $100k to $110k + super About the Organisation Our client is an established Melbourne-based underwriting agency, writing personal lines business through brokers on behalf of an insurer partner.
The business is growing and is adding to its underwriting and broker support team.
About the Role We're recruiting a Motor Underwriter to deal directly with brokers on personal lines motor.
You'll join a small motor team and underwrite within the insurer's guidelines.
This is a broker-facing role, not a back-office underwriting position.
Responsibilities include: Assessing and underwriting personal lines motor risks within guidelines Preparing quotes, renewals and endorsements for brokers Building relationships with a growing broker panel Referring risks outside appetite to the insurer About You You're a Motor Underwriter, ideally in personal lines, with demonstrated experience dealing directly with brokers.
Ideally you'll bring: Personal lines motor underwriting experience A sound understanding of underwriting guidelines and referral processes Underwriting agency or insurer experience What's on Offer $100k to $110k + super,
