PR or Citizens only Applicable Location: Melbourne, Australia Experience: 8+ Years Role: SAP BASIS Consultant Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS on HANA Consultant to support technical initiatives involving SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM environments.
The role focuses on system installations, upgrades, database administration, and technical maintenance, with opportunities to contribute to next-generation SAP projects involving SAP BTP and SAP IAG.
Key Responsibilities Perform SAP BASIS administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance across SAP environments.
Manage SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM systems, including system upgrades and technical enhancements.
Administer and maintain SAP HANA databases, ensuring system performance, stability, and availability.
Plan and execute operating system, database, and SAP kernel upgrades.
Support SAP Fiori configuration, administration, and related technical activities.
Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure smooth system operations.
Document SAP processes, technical procedures, upgrade plans, system changes, and implementation activities.
Support SAP environments hosted on cloud platforms, where applicable.
Collaborate with technical teams and project stakeholders to deliver system upgrades and support ongoing SAP initiatives.




Contribute to emerging SAP projects involving SAP BTP, SAP IAG, and other SAP technologies as required.
Mandatory Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP BASIS on HANA.
Strong experience with SAP HANA database administration.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM applications.
Experience in SAP system installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
Solid knowledge of SAP BASIS administration, SAP Fiori, and system landscape management.
Experience managing operating system, database, and SAP kernel upgrades.
Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation, upgrade plans, and change records.
Good-to-Have Skills Experience supporting SAP systems on cloud platforms.
Exposure to SAP Solution Manager.
Knowledge of SAP Security.
Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM.
Familiarity with SAP BTP and SAP IAG.
Project Overview The role is primarily focused on a Technical Initiative Project involving multiple application and component upgrades within SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM environments.
The successful candidate will also have opportunities to support next-generation SAP projects, including SAP BTP and SAP IAG
