Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Water-Truck Operators to join our high-performing team at Curragh North .
As a key member of the Curragh North team, you'll play an important role in supporting safe, effective mining operations by operating haul trucks and contributing to a productive, safety-focused team environment.
Roster: 7:7 DN | Location: Curragh North, QLD | Employment Type: Full-Time As the Truck Operator, you will: Operate water-trucks safely and efficiently to support production targets.
Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.
About you As the successful applicant,



you'll be a motivated and safety-focused operator who enjoys working as part of a high-performing team.
You'll bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a commitment to operating safely and efficiently in a dynamic mining environment.
You'll be comfortable working collaboratively with your crew and take pride in contributing to safe and productive operations.
Minimum 12 months' experience operating water-trucks in an open cut coal mining environment.
Experience operating Caterpillar 785 C/D or equivalent equipment.
Experience in hard rock mining operations will be highly regarded Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts/LMS documents) signed by an SSE or delegate.
Current Standard 11.
Current Driver's Licence.
A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team.
