About the position Council is looking for a Natural Reserves Maintenance Officer within the Operations Department who will be responsible for delivering foreshore and horticultural maintenance programs within coastal areas.
Your main responsibilities will include: Ensuring our service standards are delivered so the foreshore remains accessible, safe and clean for all to enjoy.
Implementing maintenance programs to enhance biodiversity and horticultural presentation within coastal reserves and public open space in accordance with best horticultural management techniques and utilising specialist plant and equipment.
This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week under a 9-day fortnight arrangement, providing one rostered day off (RDO) each fortnight in accordance with the agreed roster.
About you Certificate III or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management, Horticulture or related discipline.




Experience maintaining and enhancing Parks and Conservation Areas and garden beds to a visually pleasing aesthetic.
A strong understanding of safe work practices.

This position is a Band 2A currently remunerated at $66,****** per annum, plus superannuation.
Overtime will also be paid as required.
