This leadership opportunity is based in our Surgicentre (Day Procedure Unit) and will work closely and collaboratively with the Main Theatre team at the hospital and Deputy Director of Clinical Services- Perioperative Services to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
The position is offered on a full time basis; however, part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

Your main duties will include:
Effective and efficient leadership and management of a Day Procedure Unit Collaborating and engaging with employees and stakeholders Managing associated KPI's Supporting staffing, rostering and payroll Ensuring a high quality and safe care is achieved About you Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Proven experience in people leadership and team management.
Sound understanding of nurse management KPIs and operational performance measures.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage a broad range of stakeholders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to fostering positive working relationships.
Comprehensive knowledge of national standards, perioperative practice standards, and infection prevention and control requirements.
