Position Information
Casula High School is a comprehensive, coeducational setting that has an enrolment of approximately **** students, including 3.6% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, 52.9% EAL/D, 3.3% refugee background and 78% students from a non-English speaking background.
Casula High School has a Support Unit consisting of one mild intellectual disability class, two autism classes and one moderate intellectual disability class.

Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $156,******.
Base salary ranges from $90,****** to $137,******, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation.
Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Careers or currently enrolled in the Careers Advisor qualification approved by the NSW Department of Education.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the school community to guide and support students into meaningful post school pathways.
Proven ability to work with the wellbeing, secondary studies and attendance teams to successfully engage and motivate students into transition programs that provide learning opportunities for a diverse range of students.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching chance.
