Job Description
Redpath is seeking Underground Nippers to support mining operations at the Federation Mine. This role is suited to individuals looking to build or further develop a career in underground mining within a structured and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist Jumbo Operators and Charge-Up crews with development activities
Conduct service runs delivering materials, explosives, and consumables to headings
Set up and maintain services including ventilation, water, and air lines
Bogging and clean-up duties as required
Install and remove ground support materials under supervision
Perform pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
Maintain housekeeping standards across work areas




Complete shift reports and safety documentation
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses
About You
Previous underground mining experience preferred (entry-level considered depending on site requirements)
Strong willingness to learn and develop within underground operations
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Valid manual driver's licence
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
Ability to work rotating rosters (2/2, days and nights)
