Classification: Senior Medical Specialist (Year 1 – 9) plus super
The Team & Role
The Specialist Pain Medicine Physician will be part of integrated Pain consultation- liaison service and will be running an outpatient session at The Mornington Centre/Peninsula University Hospital.
Key duties and responsibilities
Provide high quality evidence based clinical care.
Promote the delivery of excellence in patient care in collaboration with other specialty services and General Practitioners in the community
Be aware of and work in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Contribute to training of Pain Fellow at Peninsula Health.
Participate in clinical risk, quality and research activities within the unit.
Promote high standards of educational support for all team members
Skills & Experience Required
Must hold MBBS or equivalent
Current AHPRA registration




Specialist Pain Medicine Physician qualification – FFPMANZCA or equivalent
Demonstrating excellent Interpersonal relationship building skills
Proven ability to Implement change within a complex environment
