We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to own the day-to-day financial health of the business and act as a true partner to leadership. This is a hands-on, analytical role: as much about building models, testing scenarios, and reporting on the numbers that matter as it is about keeping the books in order. It's a part-time role suited to someone who enjoys turning data into insight in a scaling company and wants meaningful, flexible work. You'll manage our bookkeeper and work closely with our tax accountant and Fractional CFO, acting as the connective tissue between operational finance and strategic decision-making.

Build and maintain cash flow forecasts and budgets with the CFO to support sustainable growth

Own month-end close and produce timely, accurate management accounts
Team

Tax & compliance —
Review BAS/GST, payroll, PAYG withholding, and superannuation lodgements prepared by the bookkeeper, and liaise with our external tax accountant on compliance, filings, year-end preparation, and R&D; Tax Incentive claims where eligible
Payment & fund flows —
Oversee reconciliation of merchant settlements, payment and donation flows, refunds, chargebacks, and scheme and acquirer fees, and monitor fraud and chargeback losses
Profit-share & impact reporting
— Own the calculation, governance, and transparent reporting of the 50% profit distribution to the arts community, with a clear, consistent, audit-ready methodology
Operational finance —
Manage accounts payable/receivable and payment workflows, including partner and referral commission payouts
Controls & process —
Strengthen financial controls, processes, and systems as we scale, including automating reconciliations, integrating platform transaction data with our accounting system, and maintaining audit readiness
Regulatory & partner reporting
— Prepare the financial data and reports needed to met regulatory and payment-partner obligations (e.g. AUSTRAC AML/CTF, card scheme and acquirer requirements,
as applicable), working with leadership and external advisers
