This is a part-time bookkeeping position offering approximately 2-3 days per week with flexible working hours and school-hours arrangements. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping requirements while working independently and as part of the team at the Bibra Lake office.
Key responsibilities
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Processing supplier invoices and preparing payments
Following up outstanding invoices and overdue accounts
Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
Processing payroll, superannuation and employee entitlements
Assisting with BAS preparation and GST reporting
Reconciling supplier statements and creditor accounts
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Monitoring business expenses and financial transactions
Assisting with cash flow management and financial reporting
About you
Experienced in bookkeeping - previous experience is essential
Honest, reliable and trustworthy
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident working independently and managing own workload
Friendly, approachable and a positive team player
Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
Able to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
Competent with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Skilled and discreet when handling confidential financial information
