This position has a genuine occupational requirement for a male care worker, in accordance with the Sex Discrimination Act **** (Cth) and Anti-Discrimination Act **** (Qld).
This requirement is due to the nature of the role, which involves intimate personal care, and the need to respect the privacy, dignity, and preferences of male clients.

What We are Looking For
Must-haves:
Male Support Worker to meet the specific needs and preferences of the client;
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or similar;
Availability on Wednesdays and Fridays, with the understanding that hours are expected to increase over time.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience working with older adults in a community-based setting;
Confident working independently in clients' homes and in the community;
Capacity and willingness to increase hours as the role expands over time;
HLTHPS006 Assist Client with Medication module
