We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our retail team in Brisbane, Queensland. The Pharmacy Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that the pharmacy runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with their enquiries and provide information about products and services

Support pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory
n
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment
n
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
n
Handle stock management, including receiving and shelving deliveries
n
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
n
Participate in training and development activities as required

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
n
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential
n
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Basic numeracy and literacy skills

A keen interest in healthcare and pharmacy practices
n
Completion of a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification) is highly desirable.
