Role Description
The Dispatch Manager role is a full time, on-site position located in Brighton, CO. This role is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations, including scheduling drivers, assigning loads, and monitoring routes to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. The Dispatch Manager communicates with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues, provide updates, and optimize equipment and resource utilization. The role includes tracking performance metrics, addressing service concerns, and supporting continuous improvement in operational processes.



The Dispatch Manager also assists with coordinating maintenance needs, managing documentation, and supporting training and guidance for dispatch staff.
Qualifications
Strong dispatching skills with experience coordinating routes, loads, and driver schedules.
Supervisory skills to lead, coach, and support dispatch and driver teams.
Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Operations management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking tools, and standard office applications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and recordkeeping.
Previous experience in trucking, logistics, or freight operations; leadership experience is an advantage.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or business is beneficial.
