About the role
As a Trainee Administration Officer, you'll:
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, guidelines, templates, and forms.
Provide exceptional customer service to Isaac residents including answering phones and providing face-to-face support as required.
Assist Team Leaders, Overseers, and Coordinators with administration, procurement, and financial support.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and seminars.
Undertake other administration duties as required.
The role at a glance
Type: Fixed Term – 12 months
Hours: Full time, 72.5 hours per fortnight
Rate: $***** per hour
Roster: Monday to Friday, 9-day fortnight (hello long weekends!)

No prior administration experience is required – just a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You'll thrive in this role if you:
Have strong communication skills and enjoy helping people.
Are organised, proactive, and able to work in a team.
Are confident using basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
Have completed Year 10 or higher.
Hold a current driver's licence (desirable but not essential).
Earn while you learn and complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
Gain hands‐on experience in finance within a supportive team.
Open doors to future career opportunities in local government or corporate finance.
Live and work locally in Moranbah.
