About the Company
Our client is a well-established Australian supplier of specialist equipment and materials to the energy infrastructure sector. Operating for close to three decades, the business services major utility, mining, oil and gas, rail and transport clients across Australia and New Zealand. With around 80 staff across four divisions and a recent private equity investment to fuel its next growth phase, the company is undertaking a significant CRM transformation as part of its broader modernisation strategy.
About the Role
The business is migrating its CRM from a legacy ERP platform to Salesforce, with the new system due to go live early next year. An external implementation partner is managing the Salesforce build and configuration, but the company needs a dedicated Data Migration Analyst to own the data workstream end-to-end.
The successful candidate will be the single point of accountability for ensuring the customer, product and pricing data migrating into the current CRM is clean, accurately mapped, properly governed and fully traceable. This is a focused, high-impact contract with a clearly defined scope and deliverable.
Key Responsibilities
Extract customer, product and pricing data from the existing ERP/CRM platform

Profile and assess data quality, identifying gaps, duplicates, inconsistencies and ownership issues
Design and implement data cleansing rules, transformation logic and validation processes
Map source data to the Salesforce data model in collaboration with the external implementation partner
Establish a data governance framework covering data ownership, naming conventions, deduplication standards and ongoing quality processes
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing and operations to validate data and obtain sign-off
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
Strong SQL skills for querying and extracting data from source databases
Proficiency with Power Query and/or Power BI for data profiling and transformation
Experience designing data governance frameworks, including ownership models and quality standards
The ability to manage stakeholders across internal teams and external project partners
Experience with Pronto ERP
Salesforce experience, including data import tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard)
Other Details
Location: North Brisbane (onsite 5 days per week)
Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension
Start: ASAP (November ****)
