Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the role is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing the electrical and instrumentation systems at Binduli and Paddington Operations' fixed plant (Processing Mill) and its surrounding work sites, safely and efficiently. Work is to be compliant with all relevant Statutory requirements and health and safety regulations.
DUTIES
Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections, equipment repairs and associated component change-outs.
Diagnose faults and plant/equipment breakdowns.
Regular inspections of tooling, equipment, work areas, and plant to identify hazards, operational compliance, damage and defects.
Carry out time and material estimations for planned tasks, and enter associated parts orders.
Report any hazards, accidents or injuries immediately to your direct Supervisor.
Assist recent employees and Contractors in the application of Company Policies and Procedures.
Ensure maintenance activities are carried out to a high standard and following statutory requirements
Maintain required licensed trade knowledge to ensure continued compliant and safe electrical work practices.
Any other duties as required.
Skills And Experience
Minimum of 2 years of mine site fixed plant electrical experience
Minimum of 4 years post-apprenticeship electrical work experience
Relevant trade qualification
Current unencumbered C/HR WA drivers licence
Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
High Voltage Switching certification (desirable)
High Risk Work Licence Certifications:
Forklift (desirable)
Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
Non-slewing crane (desirable)
