Due to growth, we are looking for a Manager to join our team in Toowoomba. This is a role for someone who is comfortable moving between planning the day and week ahead, ordering materials and stock and serving customers.

About the role
As Yard Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly day to day. Leading a small team, you'll coordinate deliveries, allocate work to drivers, support customers, and ensure the yard operates safely and efficiently.



This is a hands-on role that combines people management, customer service and basic logistics, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in running an organised operation.
Key responsibilities
Lead, support and coordinate a small yard and delivery team
Allocate deliveries, vehicles and drivers to meet customer requirements
Manage daily schedules and staff rosters
Provide outstanding customer service to trade and retail customers
Handle customer enquiries, issues and delivery adjustments as they arise
Ensure products are prepared, loaded and dispatched accurately and on time
Maintain a safe, organised and efficient yard operation
Complete general administrative tasks, paperwork and system updates
Work closely with management to improve processes and customer outcomes
Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, service and teamwork
Experience in a similar retail environment or the construction industry is highly regarded.
