Description
The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information.
Assist in the preparation of reports for stakeholders and management.
Support the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation.
Provide technical advice on financial reporting matters as needed.
Profile
A successful Financial Reporting Accountant should have:
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CA/CPA Qualification & Experience within practice or experience in a similar role within industry (ideally professional services or financial services)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Experience in preparing and analysing financial statements.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
The ability to work effectively in a temporary role and meet deadlines.
