We're seeking a Senior Recoveries Performance Officer to optimise debt collection outcomes by managing and engaging with our external collection partners. You'll join an innovative team, who are focused on enhancing revenue and improving customer experience. As our Senior Recoveries Performance Officer, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
Maximise revenue through strong and regular engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including partnered agencies and third-party providers.
Effectively manage debt services agreements, ensuring all KPIs and targets are achieved by our partnered agencies.
Support the development and enhancement of collection workflows to maximise collection outcomes and improve the customer experience.
Produce and present transparent, concise, and sound recommendations based on analysis to enhance collection strategies and outcomes.
Prepare and generate key monthly reports, including bad and doubtful debt provisions, revenue reporting, and invoice reconciliations.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives with our partnered agencies, ensuring robust monitoring and processes are in place.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:
Extensive experience within a credit management function, particularly with high-volume, low-value transactions.
A strong knowledge of credit processes, relevant legislation, and credit reporting methodologies.
High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyse and interpret data to identify trends, assess business impact, and initiate corrective action.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and initiate process changes to resolve them.
