RN - Collinsville - Emergency / Aged Care
Collinsville Multipurpose Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its team across emergency, acute care and aged care services in rural Queensland. This is a 12-week contract role (19 October **** to 10 January ****) based in Collinsville, working as a Registered Nurse Grade 5. You'll work up to 80 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster of 8- and 12-hour shifts, supporting a small but vital facility that serves the local community with 24-hour emergency care, acute beds and aged care services.
Work across emergency, acute and aged care in a close-knit rural health service
Lead clinically and work autonomously as the sole Registered Nurse on shift
12-week contract with adaptable shift patterns and the chance to make a real difference in a rural setting
Preferred Requirements




Proven rural nursing and emergency department experience
Strong triage skills and the ability to assess and prioritise patients effectively
Demonstrated capability to team lead and work independently as the sole RN on shift
Proficiency with Queensland Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR), FirstNet, PowerChart and HBCIS systems
Aged Care National Police Certificate (mandatory requirement)
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) training from Queensland, NSW, SA or VIC, with evidence of recognised prior learning where applicable
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing or aged care
