Network Engineer | Banking | 12-Month Contract | Sydney
The Opportunity
A leading Australian financial services organisation is expanding its project delivery team and is looking to engage multiple Network Engineers for a long-term contract opportunity.
This is a hands‐on project‐focused role, working across network security, infrastructure upgrades, vulnerability remediation and firewall transformation initiatives within a large enterprise setting on Cisco and F5 kit.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, prioritise and remediate network infrastructure vulnerabilities
Deliver network security hardening initiatives across enterprise environments
Support large-scale firewall migration projects
Perform network hardware refreshes and software upgrades




Execute network patching and lifecycle management activities
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
Help maintain a secure and resilient network environment
Skills & Experience
Strong experience with
Cisco routing and switching
Experience managing
next-generation firewalls
, ideally Cisco or Palo Alto
Exposure to
enterprise wireless networks and WLC technologies
Hands‐on experience with
F5 technologies
, including LTM, GTM and Big‐IQ
Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
Proven experience with vulnerability remediation and security hardening programs
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities within complex environments
