Bring your child and family health expertise to a role that strengthens families, improves child safety and creates lasting community impact.
The Role
RESTORE Intensive Family Services is a voluntary, child-centred program supporting families with children from before birth to 18 years who are navigating complex challenges. Through intensive, trauma-focused and strengths-based support, our multidisciplinary team helps families create safety, build parenting capacity, strengthen relationships and connect with community and culture.

You will help families reconnect with trusted health supports, reduce barriers to care, and navigate primary, specialist, developmental and disability services, including the NDIS. Your clinical insight will also inform child safety assessment and promote better health and wellbeing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Build respectful, transparent relationships with families and complete evidence-based physical health, developmental and wellbeing assessments for children and adults.
Develop health care plans, contribute to integrated case reviews, and deliver practical, therapeutic nursing interventions aligned with RESTORE IFS and Centacare's Therapeutic Framework.
Provide referrals, advocacy, and practical support so families can access health, developmental and disability services, including the NDIS.
Advise the multidisciplinary team on child protection risk,

safeguarding and holistic health responses, and partner with allied health, education, government, NDIS, and community services.
Champion culturally safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed practice, with accessible feedback and stronger service pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
