Treotham Automation is seeking a reliable and hardworking Storeperson / Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Brendale, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods whilst ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining a safe working environment. This role is essential to supporting our logistics operations and enabling our business to deliver quality service to our customers.
Key responsibilities
Receiving and inspecting incoming goods, verifying against purchase orders and documentation
Accurately recording stock information into the warehouse management system
Organising and storing goods in designated locations, following proper storage protocols
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch to customers
Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts
Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery as required
Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
Identifying and reporting damaged goods or discrepancies
Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a warehouse, storage or distribution environment
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (or willingness to obtain certification)
Robust attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling tasks regularly
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Commitment to health and safety standards and procedures
Valid driver's licence
Reliability and punctuality
