Frame & Truss Manufacturing Trainee
to join our host employer in
Morningside
.
Our host employer is a leading timber frame and truss manufacturer supplying residential builders across Southeast Queensland. You'll join a supportive team in a modern manufacturing facility, building timber frames and roof trusses used in residential construction.
This is a excellent opportunity for someone reliable and eager to learn, with full training, mentoring and support throughout the traineeship.
What you'll do:
Manufacture timber house frames, wall frames and roof trusses
Use saws, hand tools and machinery, with full training provided
Load and prepare timber for machining
Read and interpret basic house plans
Measure and cut timber to required profiles
Follow safety procedures and use PPE correctly
Maintain quality standards and minimise waste
