The Compliance & Claims Manager is responsible for managing fleet and depot asset compliance, maintenance governance, insurance claims, fleet systems administration, procurement and asset projects. The role ensures assets remain compliant, operationally effective and appropriately documented throughout their lifecycle while supporting risk management, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key responsibilities
Maintain fleet and asset registers, vehicle registrations, fuel cards and eTags.
Administer fleet records within the Fleet Management System (FMS).
Coordinate asset compliance audits and monitor corrective actions.
Ensure compliance obligations, licences, inspections and documentation are maintained.
Monitor preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
Track defects, repairs, inspections and vehicle availability.
Manage accident and insurance claims from notification through to closure.
Maintain claims registers and supporting records.
Produce dashboards, reports and performance metrics.




Coordinate fleet, depot and asset-related projects including acquisitions, disposals, relocations and compliance initiatives.
About you
Demonstrated experience in fleet, asset, transport, maintenance, compliance or claims management.
Robust understanding of fleet maintenance and compliance requirements.
Experience managing preventative and corrective maintenance reporting.
Experience coordinating workshops, suppliers and repairers.
Experience managing vehicle registrations and fleet administration.
Experience managing accident or insurance claims.
Experience reporting, data analysis and record-management capability.
Experience using Fleet Management Systems or similar asset-management platforms.
Project coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and compliance deadlines simultaneously.
