About the Role:

We are seeking a Physiotherapist for a Christmas and New Year locum with a residential aged care team in Toowoomba, QLD from Monday 21 December 2026 to Friday 1 January 2027, with accommodation provided. This short-term locum suits a clinician who is available over the holidays and passionate about aged care.

- Assess and treat residents with chronic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries, and develop management plans
- Complete initial assessments to guide care planning and interventions
- Carry out manual handling and functional capacity assessments to support protected care
- Implement falls prevention strategies and educate residents and staff on risk management
- Prescribe mobility aids and clinical equipment to suit individual needs
- Prepare clinical and community referrals for further medical or allied health support

Benefits:

- 50 – $60 per hour + superannuation

- Contract – 21 December 2026 to 1 January 2027

About You:

- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy (essential)
- Full AHPRA registration (essential)
- Aged care or residential care experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willing to obtain
- Current flu and COVID vaccination evidence
- Medicare Provider Number, or willing to obtain
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
