About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Line Walk, Reinstatement & Punch List Supervisor to support the successful completion and handover of a major Greenfield Oil & Gas project. Reporting to the Construction/Completions Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating system walkdowns, managing pressure test reinstatement activities, driving punch list closeout and ensuring systems are successfully handed over to the Commissioning Team.
This role requires a strong background in piping, mechanical completion, commissioning interfaces and field execution within LNG, gas processing, refinery, petrochemical or upstream oil and gas facilities.

Location: Brisbane,QLD
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until 31 December 2026, with the possibility of a further 2-month extension
Roster: Monday to Sunday as required
Hours: 10-11 hours per day

Rates

- Monday - Friday: $78.00/hr (Flat Rate)
- Saturday: (1.2x)
- Sunday: (1.5x)

Key Responsibilities
Line Walk & Mechanical Completion

- Lead and coordinate piping and mechanical system walkdowns.
- Verify installations against approved P&IDs;, isometrics,



line lists and project specifications.
- Confirm correct installation of valves, supports, instruments, vents, drains and specialty items.
- Identify defects, missing components and construction discrepancies.
- Liaise with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC and Commissioning teams during system inspections.
- Ensure systems meet mechanical completion requirements prior to handover.

Reinstatement Activities

- Coordinate reinstatement of piping systems following hydrotesting and pneumatic testing.
- Verify removal of temporary blinds, hoses, test equipment and temporary spools.
- Ensure all permanent components are correctly reinstalled.
- Verify flange assembly, gasket installation and bolt tightening requirements.
- Confirm systems are reinstated in accordance with approved procedures and commissioning requirements.
- Ensure reinstatement records and completion documentation are accurate and complete.

Punch List Management

- Generate, manage and close punch items throughout construction and completion phases.
- Categorise punch items based on criticality and commissioning impact.
- Coordinate contractors and site resources to achieve timely punch closure.
- Conduct verification inspections for completed punch items.
- Maintain punch registers and provide regular status reporting.
- Drive closure of critical startup and safety-related punch items.

Handover & Commissioning Support

- Support mechanical completion,



system turnover and commissioning activities.
- Participate in client walkdowns and acceptance inspections.
- Assist with completion dossiers, turnover packages and closeout documentation.
- Ensure systems are ready for safe and efficient commissioning.

Safety & Compliance

- Promote a solid safety culture and ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments and permit-to-work activities.
- Ensure safe execution of all line walk and reinstatement activities.

Identify and escalate safety, quality and operational risks.

Skills & Experience
Essential

- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical or Process Facilities.
- Previous experience as a Line Walk, Reinstatement, Mechanical Completion or Punch List Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of:

- P&IDs; and Isometric Drawings
- Hydrotest and Pneumatic Test Reinstatement
- Flange Management
- Mechanical Completion Processes
- Punch List Management
- System Turnover and Commissioning

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a construction environment. Desirable

- Trade Qualification, Diploma or Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Piping).
- Experience with Completions Management Systems.
- LNG, Gas Processing Plant or Refinery project experience.
- Current Australian work rights
