Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced AO6 Senior Human Resources Advisor to provide expert HR business partnering services within a Queensland Government environment.

This role will see you working closely with senior leaders, managers and stakeholders to deliver practical HR advice, manage complex employee matters and support effective workforce outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide expert HR advice across employee relations, performance management and workforce matters.
- Manage complex and sensitive cases including grievances, conflict, conduct, discipline and return-to-work matters.
- Interpret and apply relevant employment legislation, industrial instruments, directives and policies.
- Coach and support managers in addressing complex people management issues.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Use workforce data and people analytics to support informed decision-making.
- Contribute to HR strategies, policies, programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:





- Strong HR generalist experience, within the Queensland Public Sector.
- Sound knowledge of HR legislation, industrial relations frameworks and employment policies.
- Experience managing complex employee relations and performance matters.
- Demonstrated HR business partnering or senior advisory experience.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- A practical, measured and solutions-focused approach to resolving workplace issues.
- Experience or knowledge of workplace health, safety and wellbeing matters.
- A current driver's licence.
