Their vision is a world without poverty where all children and young people can say: “I am safe. I am educated. I contribute. I have a future.”

Impact of the role

ChildFund Australia is embarking on a significant organisation-wide transformation, investing in its digital, data and technology capability to create more connected systems, strengthen decision-making and deliver an exceptional supporter experience.

As Fundraising Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring Fundraising is at the heart of this transformation. Working in close partnership with Digital, Data and Technology teams, you will balance longer-term transformation with operational effectiveness, helping shape the future fundraising technology landscape while ensuring existing systems and processes continue to perform effectively.

This role requires a confident and influential stakeholder manager who can advocate for Fundraising, challenge priorities constructively and bring together fundraising and technical perspectives to achieve the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

ensuring they support fundraising strategy and the end-to-end donor experience.
- Translate fundraising needs into clear business requirements and technology priorities, partnering across Fundraising, Technology, Data and other key stakeholders.
- Lead continuous improvement across fundraising systems and processes, improving efficiency, reducing manual effort and enabling future growth.
- Lead fundraising systems projects and enhancements from requirements and testing through to implementation, adoption and ongoing optimisation.
- Maintain effective data and operational governance, identifying system limitations, emerging requirements and operational risks.
- Manage technology partners and support teams through systems and process change, ensuring solutions are effectively implemented and embedded.

Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience across fundraising operations, fundraising systems, CRM product ownership or a similar business-facing systems role.
- Strong understanding of fundraising and the end-to-end donor lifecycle, ideally including Regular Giving and associated systems and processes.
- Proven ability to translate fundraising or business needs into clear requirements and priorities for Technology, Data and other technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading CRM, systems or operational improvement projects through requirements, implementation, change and ongoing optimisation.
- Robust stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge, advocate for fundraising priorities and navigate competing requirements appropriately.
- Experience working with CRM and fundraising technology platforms, vendors and implementation partners; Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of data governance, operational risk and process improvement,

with the ability to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- A proactive and independent approach, with strong judgement, problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively within a complex and evolving environment.
