Project Manager - Client-Side| Private Boutique Developer | Brisbane

The Opportunity:
The Recruit Group is excited to be assisting a private boutique property developer in the search for a Project Manager to join their Brisbane team.

Step away from contractor-side delivery and gain greater involvement in the property development process, overseeing early-stage civil works, earthworks and site preparation across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Working directly with the developer, you'll have the opportunity to influence project outcomes, manage key contractors and gain exposure to the broader development lifecycle across multi-residential, townhouses, residential subdivisions, retail and industrial developments.

This is an excellent prospect for a civil construction professional looking to transition client-side, take on greater ownership and play a more direct role in delivering property developments.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Overseeing earthworks, site preparation and early-stage civil works across multiple developments.
- Managing civil contractors, engineers and consultants to drive delivery.
- Monitoring programmes, budgets, progress claims and variations.
- Reviewing civil drawings, scopes of work and contractor proposals.
- Resolving site issues and coordinating solutions with project stakeholders.
- Monitoring safety, quality and compliance requirements.
- Reporting on project progress, costs, risks and key milestones.
- Coordinating the completion and handover of civil works.

About You:
You'll have a strong civil construction background and understand how earthworks, site preparation and associated infrastructure are delivered on the ground.

Ideally, you'll bring:





- Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar with a civil contractor.
- Experience across earthworks, site preparation and civil infrastructure.
- Exposure to subdivisions, land development, industrial or similar projects.
- An understanding of construction programmes, budgets and contractor management.
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Property or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Previous developer-side experience isn't essential. This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from civil contracting and gain greater involvement in the property development process.
