MP Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected business that services the agricultural, irrigation, garden care and outdoor power equipment industries. With a strong reputation built over many years, this business is looking for a customer-focused individual to join their team as a Spare Parts & Sales Consultant due to a planned retirement within the business.
You'll assist customers both in person and over the phone, identify spare parts, coordinate repair bookings, process warranty claims and help customers select the right equipment to meet their needs.
About the Role
Working as the first point of contact for customers, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service while supporting the sales and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with spare parts enquiries via phone and over the counter.
- Identify and interpret parts for small engines, pumps and outdoor power equipment.
- Create repair and maintenance bookings for workshop jobs.
- Process warranty claims through manufacturer portals.
- Provide product advice and sell new equipment and accessories.
- Maintain accurate records using industry-specific software.
- Build strong relationships with customers across agricultural, irrigation and garden care sectors.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in parts interpretation or a similar role.
- Confident communicator who enjoys dealing with people from a range of backgrounds.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- An interest in machinery, pumps, irrigation or agricultural equipment would be highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday plus rostered Saturdays.
