You've spent the last few years building your Azure cloud engineering experience. You're comfortable supporting production environments, troubleshooting complex issues and keeping critical infrastructure running.
Now you're looking for more variety, greater technical exposure and the opportunity to develop your skills within a larger enterprise environment.
Medline is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join its APAC Infrastructure team in Marsden Park, supporting its established Azure environment while contributing to regional cloud projects and ongoing platform improvements.
One day you might be resolving a complex production issue, the next deploying infrastructure through Terraform, improving cloud security or collaborating with technology teams across Australia, Japan, India and the United States on a global initiative.
It's an opportunity to build on the Azure experience you already have while gaining exposure to a broader range of technologies, projects and enterprise cloud practices.
About Medline
Medline is one of the world's largest healthcare manufacturers and medical supply organisations, supporting hospitals and healthcare providers across more than 100 countries.
Technology plays a critical role in supporting that global operation. Within APAC, the technology function is evolving from separate country-based IT teams into a more connected regional operating model.
For Cloud Engineers, this creates an opportunity to work across regional initiatives, contribute to the ongoing maturity of the cloud platform and gain experience within a genuinely global business.
The Prospect
Reporting to the Regional Infrastructure Manager – APAC, you'll support, maintain and continually improve Medline's Azure cloud environment across the region.
The role combines Level 3 operational support with hands-on engineering and project delivery, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of technical challenges while continuing to broaden your experience.
You'll contribute across:
- Microsoft Azure cloud operations, administration and troubleshooting
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code deployments
- Level 3 incident and problem management
- Cloud monitoring, optimisation and security remediation
- Disaster recovery and operational resilience
- Regional cloud infrastructure projects and global technology initiatives
You'll work within a collaborative infrastructure team where you're encouraged to solve problems, contribute ideas and take ownership of delivering practical technical outcomes.
Why This Role Is Different
This is an opportunity for a Cloud Engineer who has already developed solid Azure experience and is ready to take the next step in their career.
Rather than being confined to a narrow technical function, you'll gain exposure to a broader enterprise cloud environment, balancing operational engineering with infrastructure improvements and regional projects.
You'll also have the opportunity to deepen your Terraform and Infrastructure as Code capability while working alongside experienced infrastructure professionals across APAC and the wider global technology organisation.
The role offers the technical variety and development opportunities of a larger enterprise without requiring you to already be a senior cloud specialist or architect.
About You
You'll likely bring:
- A minimum of three years' hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments in production
- Practical experience administering, troubleshooting and maintaining Azure infrastructure and services
- Exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools, with an interest in developing your capability further
- Strong Level 3 troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud and infrastructure environments
- An understanding of cloud monitoring, security, networking and operational resilience
- Experience contributing to cloud infrastructure improvements, deployments or technical projects
- Confidence working independently while collaborating with broader infrastructure and technology teams
- A genuine desire to continue developing your Azure cloud engineering career
We're looking for someone who can confidently support an Azure production environment, enjoys solving technical challenges and wants to keep developing through exposure to more complex environments and projects.
Why Join Medline
You'll join a global organisation that continues to invest in technology while remaining part of a collaborative regional team where your contribution is visible and valued.
You'll benefit from:
- Enterprise Azure exposure within a globally connected technology workplace
- A balanced mix of operational engineering, infrastructure improvements and project delivery
- Mentorship and technical development alongside an experienced Regional Infrastructure Manager – APAC
- Regional collaboration across Australia, Japan, India and the United States
- Hybrid working, with Tuesday and Thursday as core office collaboration days, plus one additional office day each week
- Flexibility to balance occasional after-hours meetings with global teams
- The opportunity to contribute to technology supporting healthcare organisations around the world
