Frame & Truss Traineeship – Paid Training

Enjoy hands-on work and interested in timber and construction? NTHA Trainees & Apprentices are seeking a motivated Frame & Truss Manufacturing Trainee to join our host employer in Morningside .

Our host employer is a leading timber frame and truss manufacturer supplying residential builders across Southeast Queensland. You’ll join a supportive team in a modern manufacturing facility, building timber frames and roof trusses used in residential construction.

This is a great opportunity for someone reliable and eager to learn, with full training, mentoring and support throughout the traineeship.

What you’ll do:

- Manufacture timber house frames, wall frames and roof trusses
- Use saws, hand tools and machinery, with full training provided
- Load and prepare timber for machining
- Read and interpret basic house plans
- Measure and cut timber to required profiles
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE correctly




- Maintain quality standards and minimise waste
