Brand-Recent Venue | Moreton Bay | Hands-On Back of House Role

The Country Club Hotel is a brand-new entertainment and hospitality destination bringing together great food, live sport, entertainment and recreation all under one roof.

We are now looking for reliable and practical Yards & Cellar Team Members to support the behind-the-scenes operation of this exciting new venue.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a key back-of-house role for people who like variety, responsibility and being part of the team that keeps a busy venue moving.

You’ll be involved across the full operation — from receiving and rotating stock, managing cellar areas and keeping back-of-house spaces organised, through to venue setups, general maintenance, equipment movement and property upkeep.

We’re looking for practical all-rounders who enjoy working on their feet, solving problems and supporting different departments throughout the day. If you like a role where no two days are the same , this will be right up your alley.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Key responsibilities will include:

- Receiving, checking and putting away venue deliveries
- Maintaining organised and well-presented cellar and storage areas
- Stock rotation, stock movement and assisting with stocktakes
- Changing kegs and supporting day-to-day cellar operations
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised back-of-house areas
- General yard, loading dock and waste-area upkeep
- Moving furniture, equipment,



stock and supplies around the venue
- Assisting with basic maintenance, repairs and venue setup tasks
- Completing general cleaning, pressure washing and tidy-up jobs
- Supporting venue setups, events and operational changes
- Assisting maintenance, management and other departments when required
- Ensuring equipment and work areas are used and maintained safely
- Helping keep the entire property looking clean, organised and ready for trade

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for practical people with a strong work ethic who are happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in hospitality, cellars, stores, warehousing, maintenance or similar hands-on work
- The ability to safely perform physical and manual handling tasks
- A practical mindset and basic problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation
- Reliability and the ability to work independently when required
- A team-first attitude and willingness to take on a variety of jobs
- Forklift, maintenance or trade-related experience will be highly regarded
