anzuk Education is partnering with a highly regarded early learning service in the Sutherland Shire, seeking a passionate Room Leader to join its established team in the new year.

About the role

As Room Leader, you'll take responsibility for creating a welcoming, engaging and supportive learning environment where children can thrive.

You'll work closely with a collaborative team of educators and a supportive leadership team to deliver high-quality educational programmes aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

Your responsibilities will include:





- Leading and mentoring educators within your room
- Planning and implementing engaging, child-led learning experiences
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Supporting high standards of education, care and compliance
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture

About you

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, takes pride in their educational practice and values being part of a supportive team.

Ideally, you'll have:

- An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- Current NESA accreditation if ECT-qualified
- A strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
- Previous Room Leader experience, highly regarded
- Confidence supporting and mentoring other educators
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
