We have an exciting prospect for a reliable Support Worker with a “can do” attitude to assist a male with a spinal cord injury in the Tamworth area.

About you:

You are reliable with good work ethic and understand the importance of providing care with dignity and respect. You are self-motivated, calm, and looking to make an invaluable positive impact on the lives of others.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with our member in their own home and in the community, providing care and supports which include:

Manual Handling (using a hoist/lifter)

Medication Management

Assistance in the community (appointments and errands)

Domestic tasks (cleaning and laundry)

Meal preparation

Assistance with exercises

Commitment to this role is essential!

Shifts currently on offer include but are not limited to:





Monday – Sunday from:

7:00am -11:30am

12:00pm - 2:30pm

7:30pm - 9:30pm

Flexibility is essential as these hours are subject to change and there is also the possibility of some fill-in work availablein the event of absences.

Requirements:

You must have the right to live and work in Australia

A National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Drivers License & Own vehicle

Anyone living locally with experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries would be considered highly desirable, however, reliable and compassionate applicants with a genuine interest are encouraged to apply.
