About the Opportunity
Accurate Recruitment is seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Maintenance Trades Assistant to join our client's busy manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on workshop role suited to someone with a strong industrial background who enjoys working with tools, assisting tradespeople and supporting maintenance and production operations.
If you have practical welding skills, workshop experience and a proactive approach to getting the job done, this could be the opportunity for you!
Your Responsibilities
Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance and repair tasks
Using a variety of hand and power tools
Carrying out welding tasks as required
Supporting maintenance and production operations
Assisting with general workshop duties
Following workplace safety procedures and maintaining a tidy work area
Working independently and as partof a team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial or workshop setting
Welding knowledge or hands-on welding experience - mandatory
Current LF Forklift Licence - essential
Experience assisting tradespeople or maintenance teams
Confidence using hand and power tools
A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
A reliable, safety-focused attitude and strong work ethic
