What you'll do
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffee drinks and other beverages with precision and consistency
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment,
including regular sanitisation of equipment and surfaces
- Assist with food preparation, plating and presentation according to established standards
- Stock and rotate inventory, ensuring adequate supplies of coffee, milk, food items and consumables
- Provide friendly, attentive and professional customer service to all guests
- Work collaboratively with team members
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Support general café operations as required
About you
- Demonstrated experience preparing espresso-based beverages (at least 1 year of experience)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace during peak periods
- Basic food handling knowledge and understanding of health and hygiene standards
- Flexibility and willingness to assist across multiple areas of the café
- Reliability and the ability to manage casual shifts responsibly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail in beverage and food presentation
- Previous hospitality or café experience is advantageous
