Bookkeeper – Part-Time | School Hours | Friendly & Relaxed Team

This is a hands-on bookkeeping position, looking after the day-to-day financial administration of a boutique law firm. You'll work approximately 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, in a relaxed, welcoming and supportive office environment.

Key responsibilities

General bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records

Accounts payable and receivable

Bank reconciliations and transaction processing

Processing invoices and monitoring payments

Assisting with payroll and superannuation

Maintaining financial records using Xero and other accounting software

Assisting with financial reporting and BAS preparation

Supporting the firm's legal accounting and trust accounting processes where appropriate

Working with accountants and management team to keep everything running smoothly

About you

Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience

Comfortable using Xero or similar accounting software

Organised, reliable and has good attention to detail





Enjoys working with numbers and keeping things in order

Friendly, approachable and enjoys being part of a team

Can work independently without needing constant supervision

Has a positive attitude and a positive sense of humour

Previous experience working in a law firm, particularly with legal accounting software such as Smokeball, would be an advantage, but is certainly not essential
