Independent contractor opportunity | Remote, Australia | Commission only, no fixed salary

BizIT Solutions is seeking an independent Business Development Partner to identify new clients, build business relationships, and develop sales opportunities for its IT services.

About BizIT Solutions

We support small and medium businesses with managed IT support, Microsoft 365 and Azure, cybersecurity, infrastructure and networking, monitoring, backup and recovery, migrations, automation, and IT project delivery.

What you'll do

- Find and qualify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, research, and direct outreach.
- Speak with business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs, budgets, and priorities.
- Present BizIT's services and involve the technical team for solution advice.
- Develop proposals and progress commercial discussions alongside BizIT.
- Maintain accurate opportunity records and support a smooth handover into customer onboarding.

What we're looking for

- Experience in business development, B2B sales, consulting,



or developing client relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- An existing business network or a explicit plan for generating new opportunities.
- The ability to manage your own workload and sales pipeline.
- IT or professional services sales experience is an advantage.

The arrangement

- This is an independent contractor opportunity with commission-based remuneration and no fixed salary.
- Eligible commission may cover recurring services and one-off projects.
- Commission is generally payable after BizIT receives the customer's payment, subject to the signed agreement.
- Commission rates, eligibility, deal attribution, and payment terms will be discussed with shortlisted candidates and agreed in writing.
- The initial agreement is for six months, with possible renewal by mutual agreement.
- You will manage your own schedule, with a sales territory agreed with BizIT.
