Rylstone District Hospital and Community Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract basis. Based in Rylstone, NSW, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic acute care environment from 30 November 2026 through to 21 February 2027. The successful candidate will bring ED expertise and leadership capability to support the department's clinical operations.

- 12-week contract role in a busy Emergency Department setting
- Opportunity to lead clinical care and support team coordination as an In Charge nurse
- Based in Rylstone, NSW with a explicit end date of 21 February 2027

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in an Emergency Department workplace




- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Proven ability to work in an In Charge or leadership capacity within the ED
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a rapid-paced setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in Emergency Nursing
- Additional emergency care certifications (such as TNCC or ENPC) are advantageous
